It is Amelia Island Dining Month all September long, with chef-driven menus and specials at restaurants across the island. If you have been meaning to try a new spot downtown or out on the island, this is the month to do it.
Sounds on Centre returns to historic Centre Street on Friday, September 4, with free outdoor live music and a lively downtown evening (one of our favorite nights of the month). On Saturday, the Fernandina Beach Farmers and Arts Market runs 9am to 1pm in historic downtown, with local produce, handmade goods, and plenty of friendly faces. Looking ahead, the Amelia Island Dance Festival takes the stage September 10 to 13, with performances and master classes open to the public. It is a rare chance to see world-class dance right here on the island.
